Share truthful, accurate experiences based on rentals you personally participated in. Do not exaggerate, fabricate, or post false information. Your review should reflect what actually happened during your tenancy.
Only review landlords you have directly rented from. Do not post reviews on behalf of friends, family members, or third parties. Reviews based on hearsay or second-hand information are not permitted.
Critique the landlord's management practices — not their character. Avoid name-calling, insults, or personal attacks. Focus on specific behaviors and documented issues (e.g., 'maintenance requests took three weeks' rather than 'the landlord is lazy').
Reviews must not contain language that discriminates against or disparages anyone based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, disability, or any other protected characteristic.
Do not include personal identifying information about landlords, property managers, or other tenants in your reviews. This includes phone numbers, personal email addresses, home addresses (beyond the rental property address), Social Security numbers, or financial details.
Whenever possible, support your review with photos, documents, or other evidence. Photos of property conditions, maintenance issues, or lease correspondence add credibility and help other renters understand your experience.
Aim to help future renters make informed decisions. Describe both what went well and what didn't. Constructive feedback — even when critical — is more useful than purely negative venting. If your landlord did something right, mention it.
Reviews that violate these guidelines may be flagged by community members and reviewed by our moderation team. Violating reviews will be removed. Repeated violations may result in account suspension or permanent termination. Serious violations (threats, hate speech, doxxing) may result in immediate account termination without warning.
